Buzzvil SDK 6.0.0 (iOS, March 2025)
🔥 Important announcements
A new major version is here. Buzzvil SDK 6.0.0 moves BenefitHub to a WebView, creating a hybrid web and native app experience that combines the strengths of both. Buzzvil SDK 6.0.0 and later require:
- iOS deployment target 13 or later
- Xcode 16.0 or later
Technical differences
| Area | Previous approach | New approach: hybrid web and native app |
|---|---|---|
| Development resources | New or improved BenefitHub features require development work for each version update. | Buzzvil can deploy updates directly without an SDK patch or app update. |
| Update process | Requires Google Play or App Store review. | Buzzvil can deploy app UI updates or urgent user notices directly. |
| Platform support | BenefitHub integration and custom UI implementation are required separately for Android and iOS. | A single WebView provides a consistent UI on Android and iOS. |
| UI implementation | Limited options for custom BenefitHub UI. | HTML-based UI supports a wider range of styles and dynamic elements such as animations. |
| Layout management | Limited layout options for presenting ads. | Supports more layout options and ongoing updates to other UI elements. |
Business benefits
| Monetization | Engagement | Personalization |
|---|---|---|
| Curated ad sections help users learn about rewards and contribute to revenue growth. | Missions range from simple tasks to action-based ads, helping users become familiar with rewarded advertising. | Supports Buzzvil's user personalization system developed over several years. Availability will be announced separately. |
