[Buzzvil] SDK end-of-life (EOL) policy

Overview

To provide a reliable advertising platform, Buzzvil maintains an end-of-life (EOL) policy that defines the support services and lifecycle of its SDK solutions. This policy takes effect on June 1, 2023 and applies to all software development kits (SDKs) used to integrate with Buzzvil's advertising platform. It defines the services Buzzvil provides during each stage of the product lifecycle. Buzzvil regularly releases new or updated features, improvements, bug fixes and documentation updates. We recommend keeping your SDK version up to date for the latest features, security updates and stability improvements. Continued use of unsupported versions is not recommended. You can choose when to update your SDK.

Versioning

Buzzvil SDK versions use the X.Y.Z format, where X identifies the major version. A major version change indicates substantial changes to support new features and patterns. To use the latest version, manually update the Buzzvil SDK integrated into your app.

SDK lifecycle

The SDK lifecycle consists of the following stages.

StageDescription
General Availability (GA)The SDK is fully supported, including support for new integrations, updates to existing features and bug fixes. Each GA version is supported for at least 12 months.
End-of-Support Announcement (EOST Announcement)An announcement is made at least six months before technical support for the SDK ends.
MaintenanceFrom the EOST announcement until the EOST date, only bug fixes for the latest minor version are provided; no feature improvements or new features are added. To use improved or new monetization features, update to the latest version. The standard maintenance period is six months; exceptions are announced separately.
End of Support (EOST)All technical support ends, including custom development and bug fixes. In practice, this means the end of service for that version. You may choose to continue using an unsupported SDK, but Buzzvil expressly accepts no liability and does not provide issue resolution for any features delivered through it. To keep your service running reliably, update to the latest version before the end-of-support date.
