BuzzAd 2.29.x / BuzzScreen 3.33.x (Android, September 2021)
Important!
- If you use BuzzAd 2.27.x or earlier, you must complete the migration described here. This migration includes:
- Changes to the custom launcher configuration code introduced in BuzzAd 2.27.x.
- New and updated data collection code for Feed revenue analysis. Buzzvil plans to provide data that lets you analyze Feed revenue by entry point.
- Following the Google policy change restricting the
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGESpermission on Android 11 and later, we updated the Extension SDK so integrations that use it on its own also comply. Buzzscreen and BuzzAd SDK updates already addressed this policy. See the changelog for details. - A Google Play policy change allows users to delete their Android advertising ID (ADID). Buzzvil uses BUZZ_UUID as an identifier when the user has deleted their Android advertising ID. To apply this change, integrate the
bundle.gradlelibrary usingcom.buzzvil:buzzad-benefit:2.29.+. See the changelog for details.
🚀 New features
Add a Feed entry point with one line of code using Native Overlay
When users return to your app after engaging with a native ad, Native Overlay displays a message and a path to Feed so they can discover more rewards. The message appears over your existing native placement, so you can add the feature with one line of code. It gives users access to more rewards and publishers an opportunity to earn additional revenue. See Add a Feed entry point to a Native placement in the integration guide.
