Buzzvil SDK 5.21.x (Android, September 2024)
Buzzvil SDK Android 5.21.x
🚀 New features
Added safeguards against incorrect BuzzBooster API calls
When using Buzzvil SDK, access BuzzBooster features only through Buzzvil SDK. New safeguards prevent accidental direct calls to BuzzBooster APIs such as init and setUserProfile, helping avoid performance degradation and unnecessary server costs. An incorrect API call crashes the app in debug mode. In release mode, it logs an error and preserves the existing behavior.
📈 Improvements
Customize the Lucky Box entry icon before participation
You can now configure the Lucky Box entry icon shown before participation through the Buzzvil dashboard. Choose an image that suits each campaign or event. The custom icon appears directly in the Lucky Box UI at the entry point before the user participates.
Fixed the interstitial status bar color
Fixed the Android interstitial status bar displaying the Material default brand primary color under certain conditions. It now correctly appears transparent.
Improved Android's third-party sharing consent UI
When users had not consented to third-party sharing, Android displayed a different Feed UI from iOS. Android now follows the same flow: an error screen appears, the “Go to consent” button opens the consent screen, and Feed displays normally after consent is granted.
🐛 Bug fixes
- Fixed a NullPointerException (NPE) in the Lucky Box activity.
- Fixed the base reward amount not appearing in BottomSheet Interstitial.
- Fixed the scroll prompt button not appearing after refreshing following a network error.
