🔥 Important announcements
We have completed compatibility checks and updates for Android 13 (targetsdkversion 33).
- Changed animation object parameters from
NullabletoNonNull. - Android 12 allowed some notifications to be dismissed. Android 13 allows users to dismiss notifications with a swipe. In BuzzAd SDK 3.29.x, the SDK continues to work in the foreground service even after the user dismisses a notification.
- To support the new Android 13 runtime permission (
POST_NOTIFICATIONS), BuzzAd SDK 3.29.x provides a UI that asks users to allow notifications.
📈 Improvements
Updated the video ad serving system
We substantially improved the BuzzAd SDK's video ad serving system for greater reliability. The UI also provides more useful information, including the remaining ad playback time.
🐛 Bug fixes
- Fixed BuzzAd Push intermittently becoming disabled.
- Fixed dark mode changes not being applied immediately when using
BuzzvilBottomSheet. - Fixed intermittent errors during BuzzBanner initialization.
- Changed Feed to allocate ads even if the server request for the personal information consent UI fails.
